Hi, I’m Tessa, founder of Blatantly London Studio. I’ve been behind the camera for over a decade now and I still get that same buzz every time I capture a moment.
Photography and videography are how I tell stories - whether it’s bold editorial, street-style energy, or something a bit more cinematic. Creatively, I love finding that perfect place where something feels totally natural but still beautifully intentional.
At my studio in Bermondsey I get to bring ideas to life and create work that really reflects personality, place, and purpose. It’s the part of the job I love most - collaborating, experimenting, and making images that actually tell a creative story.
Collaboration was the key to my success (and sanity).
Setting-up a small business while still working at a city law firm, dog walking, studio testing, website building was challenging. In addition I needed new skills - making socials for myself (much harder than making them for someone else!), scheduling them, build a client base from stratch.
Then along came Roberta, founder of The Style Strategist. It was the perfect collaboration - we shared similar skills, but additionally what I lacked she already knew and had in abundance and what she needed I excelled at.
